Toddlers make great developmental strides - from first steps to potty-training; I am right there to provide support in a fun and active environment.I plan activities in a bright and cheery learning environment to encourage toddlers’ eager investigation of the world.

In order to provide toddlers with the consistency and routine they crave, I plan days filled with a balance of quiet activities,  music and movement and plenty of outdoor climbing, running and jumping.
  • Learning Centers for imaginary play, blocks and puzzles, creative art and lots of books are always open for discovery.
  • I emphasize social growth through circle time with stories and songs incorporated into each day to encourage language skills.
  • Toddlers practice self-help skills including hand washing, putting on their coats, picking up their toys and sharing with their friends.
  • I encourage developmentally appropriate behavior through gross motor activity, such as balance beams and tip-toes; and fine motor skills through crayon and marker use.
  • Although children potty-train at their own pace, parents and I work together to provide the best environment for success.

Preschoolers engage in age-appropriate activities related to a monthly theme.

Centers for math, science, imaginary play, music, creative art and computers provide both shared and independent learning opportunities.

  • Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills like sequencing and matching, social skills in similarities and diversity and language art skills such as storytelling and process-writing.
  • Learning Centers encourage self-reliance and provide opportunities for children to develop their self confidence. Children also practice their decision making as they navigate from center to center.
  • Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

  • Computers are an everyday component of the preschool classroom and allow children to practice their new skills.
  • Manners are incorporated into each preschooler's daily schedule
