Professional In Home Child Care

Client Testimonial:

I was referred to Sharnet Parker for her childcare services from another childcare provider in her area.  We called and made an appointment to bring our two children over for a meet and greet during her hours of operation so we could see how she interacted with the other children, and see how her facilities were set up.  I was very impressed at how organized everything was, and also quite pleased at the way she interacted with all of the children.  Both my daughter and my son took right to her and it seemed to be a perfect fit.  I immediately filled out the necessary paperwork and my children started with her the very next week.  The kids absolutely loved it there from day one, and always had such great things to say about their time with Sharnet.  Sharnet is a very kind and loving person and treats all of the kids she cares for as if they were her own.  She keeps a very structured schedule with them, allowing time for meals, rest, play and education; a very well rounded schedule!  Both of my children have since moved on to elementary school, but I know they will never forget the time they got to spend with Sharnet.  Sharnet was a very positive influence in the lives of my children, and I am very grateful they had the privilege of staying with her!

I was recently hired by Sharnet Parker as her daycare assistant.  I help her in any way possible, making sure the children are always behaved and entertained so at all times they are given the attention needed.  Sharnet has set up a small play room with shelves of various fun toys that the younger children never get bored with.  I always see them pulling out toys and dumping them everywhere with smiles and laughter.  It creates a great mess to clean up, but we stress the importance of cleanup and working together to get the job done before moving on to another activity.  She always has projects ready for each week and its according theme, whether it be camping, outer space, or animals.  They are always very eager to take them home and show their parents what new project they made.  The younger children really enjoy these projects, and as always there are other projects more suited for the older children.  She also has video consoles, games, and computers set up for the older children's enjoyment.  Even during quiet time, where the younger children take their naps, the older children always have the option of laying out blankets and watching a movie together on the big screen TV.  It's a very relaxing and enjoyable time for everyone.  Sharnet is a very sweet and caring person, always excited to find new projects and activities for the children.  She stresses good behavior and proper manners for every child, keeping a constant positive and fun environment for everyone.  I enjoy my job immensely and would recommend her to any parent looking for a safe and positive environment for their child to spend the day.  It's been a privilege working with her.

My son loves Sharnet and Sharnet's Child care.  She runs a great business and keeps the kids engaged in activities.
I know when I drop off my son, he is excited to be there and likes his friends.
She does not tolerate misbehaved kids and that is a great influence for kids to be around.

Sharnet isn’t just daycare.  She’s family.  My daughters favorite time of the week is that spent at Sharnet’s.   Her commitment to the families that she helps ensures a fun, safe, and happy environment that has been fundamental in the growth and development of my daughter.

“Sharnet plays a key role in developing a child both emotionally and academically. The preschoolers get the love and care they need and get coached in a learning environment. Sharnet helps the kids to develop good manners, proper communication skills as well as to work/play together. We have seen our little one’s personality develop since she started at Sharnet’s. She has improved in her communication, plays fair and is more comfortable in group settings.”

We wanted to make the switch from a larger day care center to an in - home day care a few months ago because we wanted more personal attention for for my 2-1/2 year old daughter. We found Sharnet's Day Care through the Arizona Child Care Resource and Referral. We were highly impressed at how loving Sharnet is with her kids - they are like her own! I can rest at ease knowing that Sharnet is on my team of raising my daughter in a loving and structured environment. Sharnet not only has a variety of fun activities the children participate in on a weekly basis, but also has an educational plan to help get my preschooler ready for kindergarten. My daughter is always excited and ready to go to Sharnets house, even from the 1st week, which sets my heart at ease knowing that she is having a great time. She even misses and talks about Sharnet and her friends there on the weekend too, looking forward to Monday morning.

Also, my elementary-age son has recently joined her group for the summer break. Not only is he having fun too (every night he asks if he can go to Sharnet's tomorrow), but I am thankful for the structure she provides for him.

I highly recommend Sharnet's Day care to anyone looking for quality day care for their child.

I first came to know of Sharnet’s child care from Summa Associates. My daughter was 11 months old then and I was going to leave her at a daycare for the first time. I liked the arrangements she had, a professional daycare with the warmth of a home. My toddler went part time for a while, and beginning end of last year, after a gap of almost a year she started going full time for daycare plus preschool. My daughter has shown an amazing improvement in her social and behavioral skills ever since. Her vocabulary has improved and friends and family who had seen her last year and then now are surprised by how keenly she interacts. I like the way Sharnet welcomes my daughter in the morning and I confess I feel a little jealous when my daughter gives her a hug and says she missed her over the weekend, but that also tells me that she loves being there and I do not have to worry about her during the day since I know she is well cared for. Sharnet has activities planned for them in advance, I especially liked the picture and the small flower pot that my daughter made for me on Mother’s Day. She has learn a lot about plants and animals in addition to mastering her ABC’s and 123’s. Sharnet has a very well rounded routine for the kids with preschool activities, play time, story time and quiet time. Sharnet is also a very loving and caring person, she treats all her daycare kids as a part of her family. I remember she was hugging and holding my daughter when she fell sick, till I reached to pick her up.

This fall when my daughter starts going to school I know she has a good foundation to begin with, although she will surely miss being with Sharnet. I always think that no words are enough to thank Sharnet for taking good care of my daughter.
